Jeremy Parker

Paige lost her father when she was just barely two months old. I lost my mother when I was 9 years old. When we first met, Paige and I would talk and talk about things we had gone through from losing a parent. She was one of the first people I was able to talk to comfortably about my Mom. I still, to this day, can't imagine what it would be like to lose a spouse and experience the pain our parents went through. The things my dad went through in my mom's final days, I just can't even fathom.

Megan & Jeremy were an amazing couple. They shared so many things in common that it was almost as if God said 'Here you go!' Less than a year after they were married Jeremy was diagnosed with leukemia, and their lives were forever changed. They even celebrated their first anniversary in the hospital. He had the tenacity of a bull dog when it came to fighting this disease. I was truly inspired by his strength and optimism.

Today however, is a difficult day for all those who know Jeremy and Megan. The imprint they, as a couple, have left is truly a blessing and awesome. Jeremy went to be with the Lord today a little after 2:30, and Megan is now in a similar situation that our parents went through. Please, if you have a moment take a minute to say a prayer for Megan and for Jeremy's family as they go through this difficult time.
